Thelma Ingram

Mrs. Thelma Staton Ingram, 88 of Owingsville Kentucky, passed away Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center

in Morehead after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Bath County Kentucky on September 3, 1929 to the late Edgar and Ruth Staton.

Mrs. Ingram was a member of the Peeled Oak Christian Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years.

She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed crocheting afghans for all her family.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Ingram, one infant son Edward Lee Ingram, one brother Charles Staton and one sister, Freda Staton.

She is survived by two daughters Linda Garrett (Scott) of Owingsville, and Pat Ingram Griggs of Alabama, one son, Roger Ingram (Lisa) of Winchester, and one sister, Bonnie Conn (Randolph) of Midland. Seven Grandchildren, Misty Rayburn, Angie Griggs, Matthew Ingram, Lindsay Arnold, Donna Ingram, Will Carpenter and  Kevin Carpenter. Five Great Grandchildren, Ava Belle Carpenter, Natalie Smith, Abigail Arnold, Kaitlyn Arnold, and Audrey Brooklyn Clay. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Charles McGuire and Rev. Russell Morton Ingram officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oldfield Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
