Alleen Crouch

Mrs. Alleen Purvis Crouch, 90, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday morning, July 9, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 26, 1929 in Platte City, Missouri, to the late Omer and Arizona Goodpaster Purvis.

Alleen was a homemaker, who was of the Church of God faith.  To her family, it was nothing to receive a good meal or a quilt made with love by her.   She was known to love her cats, gardening and she took pride in taking care of her lawn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Ewell Purvis, Millard Purvis, Marie Purvis Cassity, Evie Purvis Dixon, Mable Purvis Plummer, Edith Christine Purvis Crouch, Geneva Purvis, Ada Faye Purvis, MaryLiza Gray and her son- in-law, James Albert Stiddom.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Crouch, one son, Farley Purvis and his wife, Inita  and one daugther, Lana Stiddom all of Bath County, three step-children, Denise Mooney (Donovan), Michael Crouch (Charlette) and Randall Crouch, nine grandchildren, Rhonda Willis, Farley Jason Purvis, Jeffery Purvis, Keegan Mooney, Ezekiel Mooney, David Crouch, Beverly Short, Keith Crouch and Brandon Crouch, twelve great-grandchildren, Alaina Willis, Ryan Purvis, Zoey Mooney, Addison Mooney, Kaiden Mooney, Noah Wilburn, Isaac Wilburn, Colton Mooney, Isaiah Crouch, Alyssa Crouch, Hayden Crouch and Lyndsey Spence and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 12, 2019, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Carey ("Moose") Stump officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hedricks Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 5:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2019.

Pallbearers will include Earl Willis, Travis Spence, Jason Purvis, Donovan Mooney, Keegan Mooney, Michael Crouch, Ezekiel Mooney and Eddie Purvis.
