Wilma Lee Thompson, 87, of Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky after a brief illness. She was born on May 17, 1931 in Bath County to the late Carl and Ollie Maze Thompson.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Violet Marcella Thompson and Nettie Pearl Thompson and one brother Nelson Thompson.
Wilma Lee enjoyed going to church, singing, reading, sitting on the porch and watching all the friends and neighbors go by. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Church of God faith and loved her family very much.
Survivors include two sisters Deloris Hatton and her husband Stanley of Salt Lick and Judy Gail Lankford and her husband Dale of Millersburg, Ohio. Two nephews Nelson Hatton and his wife Janice and Mitch Wayne Hatton and his wife Diane all of Clearfield, Kentucky. One niece Teresa Hoffman and husband Christopher, two great nephews Brandon Hatton of Clearfield and Mitch Anthony Hatton and wife Lynsie of Salt Lick. Also one great-great niece Nora Jean. Also a host of friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice and Rev. John Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Polksville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers Include Mitch Anthony Hatton, Brandon Hatton, Mitch Wayne Hatton, Rev. John Tucker, Bill Fields, Matt Armitage, Wendell Goodpaster and Nelson Hatton.
