Alfred Wells

Mr. Alfred Allen Wells, 80, of Preston Road, Owingsville, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Baptist Health Lexington.
He was born on November 10, 1934 in Bath County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clark and Irene Stephens Wells.
Mr. Wells was a retired farmer.
He was of the Church of Christ Faith.
Alfred enjoyed fishing and he was a U. K. basketball fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clark Wells, Jr., Billy Wells and Edward Wells and two sisters, Gladys Snedegar and Jewell Craycraft.
Survivors include two sisters, Gordie Conyers of Owingsville and Bonnie Manley of Jeffersonville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Willard Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Kendall Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ward Wells, Phillip Wells, Ricky Wells, Jeff Hunt, Mike Conyers, Gary Wells and Eddie Wells.
