Mrs. Alpha Leda Harmon Tuttle, 87 of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away Thursday evening at her home after an extended illness.
She was born in Garrett, Kentucky on May 12, 1929 to the late Roby and Phoebe Conley Harmon.
Mrs. Tuttle was a former nurses aid and homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Sterling Old Regular Baptist Church and enjoyed making lap blankets, working in her flowers and taking care of her yard.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Tuttle in 2002, an infant sister and a stillborn grandchild of Jerry and Tonya.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Tuttle (Jill) and JerryTuttle (Tonya) all of Washington Court House, Ohio. two daughters, Barbara Lucas of New Holland, Ohio and Carol Tuttle of Washington Court House, Ohio. Two brothers-in-law, Earn Tuttle (Irene) of Middletown, Ohio and Harold Tuttle (Minnie) of Owingsville, Kentucky. Five grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Justin, Beth and Brandi. Three great-grandchildren, Devin, Cheyenne and Ezra. Also, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Mt. Sterling Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Church ministers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2016.
Pall Bearers will be Bill Tuttle, Jerry Tuttle, Jason Tuttle, Jeremy Tuttle, Justin Tuttle, Devin Dunn, Earn Tuttle and Harold Tuttle.
