Arthur Eugene Smith, 62, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home.

He was born on February 16, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Luther Arthur Smith and Ethel Harless Smith.

Arthur enjoyed playing cards, fishing and most of all he loved riding and working on his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Randall Moore and one sister, Monny Lou Blevins.

Survivors include his wife, Benita White Smith, one son, Luther James "Jimmy" Smith (Natasha) of Owingsville, one daughter, Mariea Gillespie (Kacie) of Owingsville, ten grandchildren; Joshua Bowling (Meckenzie), Marcus Bowling, Ashtyn Smith, Landon Gillespie, Rylan Smith, Alanna Cox, Kailey Smith, Lynden Smith, Cameron Smith and Nova Smith, one brother, Dale Smith (Sandra) of Conway, Arkansas, four sisters; Carmella Martin (Ron) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Janet Roth (Gary) of Wadsworth, Ohio, Theenie Harless of Harts, West Virginia and Ginger Davis (Roger) of Owingsville and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5 - 7 PM in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 89 Slate Ave. Owingsville, Kentucky, 40360.
