Ashley Nicole Calvert, 30 of Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Sunday evening in Rowan County from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Morehead, Kentucky on November 20, 1986 to Bob Calvert and Tina Everman Vanderpool.
Ashley was a graduate of KCTC in Morehead was of the church of God faith and was an employee of Sherries Pizza House in Owingsville. She enjoyed reading, spending time at Cave Run Lake and spending time with her daughter and her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister Lindsey Calvert, paternal grandfather, Ab Calvert and maternal great-grandmother, Gladys Sparks.
Survivors include her daughter, Kayleigh Compton of Salt Lick. Her mother Tina Everman Vanderpool and her husband Doug of Salt Lick and her father Bob Calvert and his wife Deedee of Owingsville. Maternal grandparents, Omer D. and Faye Everman of Salt Lick and Paternal grandmother, Mary Kay Smith of Owingsville. Her brothers and sisters, Zach Vanderpool of Salt Lick, Laken Calvert of Owingsville, Bryan (Brittany) Calvert of Union, Kentucky, Ryan (Samantha) Calvert of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Amy (Ricky) Fugett of Owingsville and Tyler Vanderpool of Morehead. Two nieces, Paisley Brickmeyer and Henslee Calvert both of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Two nephews Brayden Fugett and Brody Vanderpool. Also special aunts, Beth Calvert and Debbie Boyd. and special friend Sherrie Willoughby. Many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Sherman Sparks officiating.
Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Serving as pall bearers will be Zach Vanderpool, Ben Everman, Bobby Boyd, Joe Boyd, Jonathan Thompson, Chris Everman and Jonathan Everman.
