Barbara Ann Dove, 60, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and formerly of Kimper, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Owingsville. She was born on July 13, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Clayton Kenn Dove and Mildred Louise Smith Dove.

Barbara worked as a beautician and was the owner and operator of Hair Designs by Barb. Alongside her work in cosmetology, she also served her community with as a school bus driver for many years.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Barbara found joy and exhilaration in the open road, often riding her Harley with a spirited sense of freedom and adventure. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for fishing, hiking, and riding four-wheelers. However, her greatest pride and joy in life was being a mother and grandmother roles in which she shone most brightly.

Barbara is survived by her four sons: Brandon Smith (Elizabeth) of Mt. Sterling, Jordan Smith (Jazmine) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Donovan Smith (Starr) of Cynthiana, Kentucky, and Zach Smith of Owingsville; her daughter Tiffany Keller of Montana; one brother, Jimmy Carl Dove (Kimberly) of Phelps, Kentucky; and one sister, Lisa Marie Wolford (Barry) of Kingsport, Tennessee. She also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Kloie, Brayden, Kaleb, Alayna, and Kaylee Smith, who brought immense happiness to her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Taylor Nicole Wolford.

Barbara's life was tragically cut short due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, an event that has deeply saddened all who knew her. Her memory will live on through her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with kindness, strength, and love.

Private services will be conducted.
