Billy Johnson

Billy Ray Johnson, 60, of Owingsville, Kentucky formerly of Mouth Card, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 after a brief illness.

He was born in Grundy, Virginia on December 3, 1961, to the late Edger Lee Johnson and Helen Marie Thacker Johnson.

Billy worked many years as a truck driver in Pike County, Kentucky.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Carol Johnson and two brothers, David Lee Johnson and James Edward Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Ray Johnson of Owingsville, one sister, Tina Marie Reynolds (Steven) and one brother, Kenneth Johnson both of Mouth Card, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Billy will be held at a later date.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Billy Ray Johnson.
