Charles "Bubby" Edward Sparks, 81, native of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 27, 1942, to the late Ancil Hood Sparks and Gladys Roberson Sparks.
He was a farmer, and retired from Hobarts Manufacturing, and a devoted member of the Tunnel Hill Church of God.
Bubby was a true example of living a Christ-like life. He was honest, willing to lend a hand to help anyone and everyone, big hearted, devoted husband, and a loving daddy. While it's going to be hard to carry on without him, we believe that he would tell us to continue on and develop your walk with God and love and support one another. This sums up Bubby best, as one of his granddaughter's stated, "Papaw, i saw Jesus in you."
There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but they will forever cherish their memories and find peace in knowing that Bubby and Maggie are in Heaven together watching over them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maggie Sparks and one brother-in-law Omer D. Everman.
