David Young Williamson, 67, of Paris, Kentucky, formerly from Bath County, Kentucky passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

He was born in Bath County, on July 28, 1955, to the late Thomas Ross Williamson and Martha Frances Williamson.

David was retired from Link Belt in Lexington, Kentucky after thirty-four years working there.  He was a United States Army veteran who enjoyed life to the fullest.  He was dearly loved by his family and friends and often had them laughing at his funny jokes.  He enjoyed working on many types of cars, hiking, riding bicycles and listening to many genres of music.  David was known to pull off quite the performance on roller skates and making great memories for his friends and family.   He also loved his dogs, Bear, Butch, Jax and Toby and even the ones that had gone on, Bandit, Pookie and Midas x.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Carroll Williamson and his two grandchildren, Julian and Chance Adkins.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Roe Williamson, two daughters, Wendy Adkins (Chad Rogers) of Owingsville and Candace "Candy" (Steven Farley II) of Moore, Oklahoma, one stepson, Michael "Shawn" Roe and one stepdaughter, Anita "Dawn" Roe both of Paris, one sister, Martha Combs (David) and one brother, James Williamson both of Salt Lick, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren, Steven and Xander Adkins, Iris and Lilith Rogers, Steven Wesley Farley III, Landon and Ryker Farley, Carrie, Corey, Chelsa and Justin Roe and nine great grandchildren, two nieces, Tonya Pendleton (Jeff) and Heather Williamson both of Mt. Sterling and one nephew Greg Riley (Kim) of Olympia, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday.

Honorary Pallbearers include, Jim McKinney, Greg Riley, Donnie Robinson, David McCarty, Jeff Pendleton, Chad Rogers, Steven Farley II, Gene McCarty, Keenan Thompson, Robin Warren, Phillip King and Larry Purdue.
