Douglas Keith Stacy, born March 14, 1970, passed away October 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by spouse, Bobby Pauley, a brother, Gary, paternal grandparents, Oll and Iva Stacy, and maternal grandparents, Dewey and Jewel Howard. He is survived by parents, Roy and Glenda Stacy, of Sharpsburg, KY, brother, Matthew Stacy, of Lexington, KY, and sister, Rhonda Anderson, of Williamsburg, OH.
Doug was a 1988 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and Alumni of Morehead State University, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Sociology. After beginning his career in mental health services, he moved to West Virginia where he served in Federal Government under the Department of Labor for nearly twenty years. After a successful career in government, Doug moved to Key West, Florida and began a new career in retail with Hard Rock Cafe. It was during this venture that Doug gained recognition and success for designing pins sold as memorabilia for the restaurant retail chain. In addition to his artistic interests, Doug was an avid reader, music appreciator, and pet lover.
A visitation will be held between the times of 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
