June 12, 1919 — July 8, 2014
Elizabeth Colliver Rice, 95, formally of 1201 Torrey Pines Drive in Mebane, NC, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. She was a native of Owingsville, a retired school teacher and a member of the Slate Valley Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin M. Rice; parents, John B. & Mary Lydia Anderson Colliver; siblings, Jewell Colliver, Burl Colliver and Beulah Jones.
She is survived by her son, James O. Rice (Karen) of Mebane, NC; grandchildren, Nathan Rice (Kristin) of Southern Pines, NC and Samantha Rice Ashby (Taylor) of Greensboro, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Slate Valley Christian Church, 2563 Wyoming Road, Owingsville, Kentucky 40360.
