Elizabeth Jane Foster Warner, 83 of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a former resident of Owingsville, passed away Wednesday morning, June 7, 2023 at the Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling.
She was born January 11, 1940 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Denie and Lillian Colliver Foster.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Warner on June 6, 2021 and one son, Christopher Warner in 2001.
Jane was a member of the Bryan Station Baptist Church and enjoyed playing board games, University of Kentucky basketball and collecting penguin figurines.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Warner of Owingsville, three grandchildren; Brian Warner of Lexington, Chris Warner (Terri Ellen) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Adam Warner (Loretta) of Richmond, Kentucky, eight great grandchildren; Finn Warner, Gemma Warner, Remi Warner, Aria Lynne Warner, Avery Nicole Warner, James Christopher Warner , Carolina Warner and Olivia Warner. One brother Don Foster of Mt. Sterling and one sister, Robin Foster Williams of Monroe, Indiana. Also, several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, June 9, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Brent Spears officiating.
Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel, Kentucky
Visitation at the funeral home is from 12 noon Friday until the hour of services.
Serving as pall bearers will be Brian Warner, Chris Warner, Adam Warner, Phillip Highley, Mike Warner and William Smith.
