Frank Gorrell, Jr.

Frank Allen "June" Gorrell, Jr ., 64, of Mt. Sterling, formerly of Owingsville passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital.
He was born November 12, 1951 in Bath County to Juanita Bailey Gorrell of Owingsville and the late Frank Allen Gorrell, Sr.
Seventeen years ago, June moved from Bath County to Mt. Sterling. He was a member of Hedricks Community Church and retired in 2014 from Link-Belt as an assembler. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer at Carrington Greens Golf Course. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Greta Carpenter (Dewayne) of Owingsville; one grandson, Darren Wayne Carpenter of Owingsville; mother, Juanita Bailey Gorrell of Owingsville; three brothers, Mike Gorrell (Linda) of Polksville, Merrell Gorrell (Mary) and Ricky Gorrell (Robyn Hart), both of Kendell Springs; one sister, Judy Neal (Wayne) of Peasticks; special friend, Jeanette Gorrell of Owingsville.
At his request no funeral services will be held.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, January 26, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.
