Gene Wells

Gene was a Bath County native. He was a farmer.

Gene is survived by his wife, Anna Wells of Owingsville; one daughter, Linda McCarty and William of Owingsville; three grandson, Michael McCarty of Mt. Sterling, Mitchell McCarty of Owingsville and Matthew McCarty of Mt. Sterling; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Gordon Wells of Owingsville, Bobby Wells of Owingsville, Clifford Wells of Owingsville, Paul Wells of Owingsville and Scott Wells of Owingsville; six sisters, Christine Watkins of Mt. Sterling, Betty Conyers of Owingsville, Ruth Orme of Mt. Sterling, Faye Willoughby of Owingsville, Lottie Bristow of Dayton, Ohio and Blanche Wells of Owingsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Wells and Aimee Purvis.
