Gerald was a Bath County native. Gerald was retired from W.T. Young Storage in Lexington, Kentucky.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Lola Bruce Knox, one daughter - Sheri Dean (and Michael), five granddaughters - McKenna Bowling, Breanna Bowling, Baylee Dean, Desi Dean, and Shianne Dean, one brother - J. W. Knox.
Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Sapp and his father, Lester Knox.
