Glynda Joyce Kiskaden, 82, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at UK St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky with her family by her side. She was born in Bath County on December 14, 1943, to the late Jack Hatton and Gertie Carmichael Hatton.
Joyce worked as a Pharmacy Tech for what is now known as UK St. Claire HealthCare for several years along with working at Bath Manufacturing, but her favorite jobs of all was being Nanny and being the Madhatter's wife. She was one of the most selfless, kindhearted and loving people you would ever meet and was an anchor to her family and friends. Joyce was always there with no judgment. When she loved, she did so with her whole heart. She was a devoted wife, mother, second mother and Nanny to many. She was a Godly woman who loved her church family as well.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Hatton Willman and two brothers, Reid Hatton and Gene Hatton.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Tommy "Madhatter" Kiskaden, two children, Deedee Crouch (Norman) and Rob Kiskaden (Heather) both of Owingsville. Survivors also include her eleven grandchildren, Casey (Amber), Alexis (Kyle), Alyssa, Taylor, Andrew, Bradley (Mikayla), TJ (Madison), Jack, Sophie, Amador and Ezekiel, five great grandchildren, Miah, Maddox, Memphis, Tahleea and Bentlee, niece who was just like a daughter to her, Jackie Willman Davis (Troy) along with her nieces and nephews and her lifelong friends, Peggy Crum and Bobby Chaney.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday February 27, 2026, at the Slate Valley Christian Church on Wyoming Road, with Pastor Greg Whitt and Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow at the Owingsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
Pallbearers include TJ Kiskaden, Andrew Crouch, Jack Kiskaden, Bradley Bliffen, Maddox Gibson, Travis Davis, Sean Davis and Brandon Davis.
Honorary pallbearers include, Alexis, Alyssa and Taylor Crouch, Miah Gibson, Sophie Glahn, Amador and Ezekiel Kiskaden.
