Janice Marie Razor Otis, 80, of Salt Lick, Kentucky was called by the Lord and welcomed home to her heavenly mansion just over the hill top.
She was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky on April 27, 1941. The daughter of the late William Robert "Crickett" Razor and Effie Snedegar Razor.
Janice loved the Lord, her church and her family. She retired from Jockey International after many years of service and she was also the co-owner of the Otis poolroom. Janice was a lifelong member of the Moores Ferry Church of Christ. She enjoyed singing for the Lord, her nail polish and that beautiful lipstick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roger Wayne Otis, one son, Jeffery "Bear" Otis, one grandson, Jeffery Lee Otis, six brothers; Kelly Razor, Ewell Razor, Jim Razor, Bennie Razor, Granville Razor and Wayne Razor, one sister, Lucille Thompson.
Survivors include, her daughter in law, Glenda, grand daughter in law, Lauren and two precious great grandchildren, Addi and Alex Otis all of Owingsville, two sisters, Freda Purvis of Owingsville and Mildred Thompson of Anderson, Indiana, her sister in law, Linda Barber and a special niece, Debby Faudere both of Owingsville.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, April 4, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice and Rev. Dennis Carman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hedricks Cemetery on Old Sand Road.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 12 noon - 2:00 PM Monday.
Pallbearers include; Tony Barber, Brent Barber, David Barber, Colby Wells, Chad Rogers, Tony Belcher, David Shrout, Keith Taylor, Josh Cline and Shannon Caudill.
Honorary pallbearers include; Pam Salazar, Sherri Caudill, Debby Faudere, Cynthia Rogers, Tracy Otis and Kathy Rogers.
