Jessica Nicole McCarty

Jessica Nicole McCarty, 34 of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born May 15, 1990 in Montgomery County Kentucky, a daughter of Sabrina McGlothlin Price and the late Terry McCarty. 

Jessica enjoyed crocheting, reading, and working with diamond art but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry McCarty and her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary McCarty.

Survivors include her mother, Sabrina McGlothlin Price and her step-father, Russell Price of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Jaxen McGlothlin of Mt. Sterling and Justin McCarty of Winchester, Kentucky; four sisters, Tiffany McCarty of Mt. Sterling, Samantha Wheaton and husband Austin of Illinois, Krysta Dunn and husband Austin of Mt. Sterling and Amber Sayre and husband Dustin also of Mt. Sterling; her maternal grandparents, Al and Viola Lockerman of Mt. Sterling; two nephews, Rhett Wheaton and Anthony Sayre; two nieces, Everly Dunn and Janalyn Sayre; one uncle, Clayton McGlothlin of Mt. Sterling; one special aunt, Darla Wheaton of Illinois; and several cousins, other family members and friends. 

To honor Jessica's wishes, she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date by the family.
