His two brothers, Paul Adam Prater of Frenchburg, and Terry Prater of Campton, Kentucky, his five sisters: Rose Stone (Michael) of Frenchburg, Elizabeth "Libby" Jones (David) of Wellington, Kentucky, Cindy Barnett (Walter) of Frenchburg, Ginger Cockerham (Earl) of Beattyville, Kentucky, and Mary Prater of Campton. His faithful furry friend, "Buddy," was a constant companion, alongside a host of nieces and nephews who will remember him.
