Joyce Ann Rose

Joyce Ann Rose, 78, of Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away on August 31, 2024, at UK Hospital.  She was born in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Willie B. and Helen Goodpaster.  Joyce was the owner and operator of a local hair salon, where she passionately dedicated her life to beautifying her clients and nurturing lasting relationships.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Goodpaster and a brother, Lawerence Goodpaster.

Joyce's love for her work as a beautician only surpassed by her devotion to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Joyce is survived by her husband, Kenneth Rose, her two sons, Robert Rose (Constance) of Shepardsville, Kentucky, and Christopher Vezina of Montana, her three grandchildren: Ashley Rose (Allan Barch), Lindsey Tarkington (Shawn), and Nathan Rose (Jessica) along with four great grandchildren.

At the request of Joyce herself, there will be no services conducted at this time.
