Judith Ann “Sissy” McCarty White, 44, of Peasticks Road, Owingsville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at her home.
She was born on October 25, 1971 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James Lee McCarty and Frances Corey McCarty.
Mrs. White was an inspector for Lion Apparel in Mt. Sterling.
She was a 1990 graduate of Bath County High School, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Moores Ferry Christian Church.
Judy enjoyed caring for her son, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas “Red” Corey, Evelyn Withrow Corey, Woodson McCarty and Nannie Hunt McCarty.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Todd White II of Owingsville, one brother, James Granison McCarty of Owingsville, two sisters, Pamela Marie Hoban of Indiana and Judy Matthews of Tennessee, aunts and uncles, Marie Purvis of Salt Lick, Minnie McCarty, Susie Trent, John Corey, Dewey McCarty and Gloria Garrett all of Owingsville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 28, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the McCarty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathon Corey, Herbie Riddle, Forrest Lee McKenzie, Doug Buckler, Crystal Riddle, Mary Riddle, April Riddle Wilson and Maegan McKenzie.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
