Karen Bowles

Karen Bowles, 56 of Sharpsburg, passed away Friday evening, July 3, 2020 at St. Joseph HealthCare-Main in Lexington after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky March 16, 1964 to John Bowles of Sharpsburg and the late Phyllis White Bowles.

Karen was retired from Wal-Mart where she was an assistant manager. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Owingsville Ward.

Survivors include her father, John Bowles of Sharpsburg, two sisters; Anita Haney and her husband Wenford and Ramona Bowles all of Sharpsburg. A special Aunt, Mary Bowles of Sharpsburg. Two nephews, John Haney and Jared Haney and a niece Jessica Copher. Three Great nieces; Jenna Haney, Jaylee Haney and Ella Haney. Also, several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home. in Owingsville.

Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery at Sharpsburg.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday.

Pall bearers will be Anita Haney, Ramona Bowles, Wenford Haney, John Haney, Larry Crump and Gary Crump.
