Lana Stiddom

Lana Stiddom, 77, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the UK St. Claire Hospital in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born in Bath County on June 11, 1948, to the late Alleen Purvis Crouch. A dedicated and compassionate individual, Lana worked over 20 years at Ridgeway Nursing Home.

Lana had a variety of interests that brought her joy in life. She was passionate about making floral arrangements, watching the birds outside her porch. Cooking was another cherished activity for her, as she loved to share meals with her family, creating warm memories together.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Albert" Stiddom, her son, Jeffery Purvis, her brother, Farley Jackson Purvis.

Lana is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Stiddom Willis, and her husband Earl, as well as her granddaughter, Alaina Spence, and her husband Travis. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Letty Alleen Spence, all of whom reside in Owingsville. In addition to her immediate family, friends and her beloved dog companions, Mugsy and Cooper.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home located at 89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY.

Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, also at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home with Dr. Jamie "Moose" Stump officiating. 

The burial will take place at Hedricks Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY.

Pallbearers include Earl Willis, Travis Spence, Farley Jason Purvis, Ryan Purvis, James Stiddom and Ivan Hedges. 

Manuel Goodpaster will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
