He worked over 38 yrs. for the Local 181 International Union of Operating Engineers.  He spent the latter part of his career as a crane operator at Spurlock Power Plant in Maysville, KY where he then retired.  His union buddies will forever be remembered as a loyal brotherhood that always stood together on the firm foundation of faith, family and friendships that last a lifetime. Thanks to ALL of you...

Larry was a wonderful, intelligent man as a husband, father and friend.  He loved God with all of his heart and spent a lifetime protecting a strong faith and trust in the Lord and if you were around him for any length of time past a minute on the front porch he would be talking about the powerful treasures found in the Word of God and seeking your input and collaboration on what you could add to your faith and his.  It became the foundation of his life and family.  He certainly built his house on the Rock of Jesus Christ.   He also had a powerful love inside of him that he generously shared with all his family, friends and co-workers.   He was known to be a spiritual leader and loved to dress well for church.  All who knew him will agree he was definitely a perfectionist with a passion for order.  He was strong in character, honorable, trustworthy, full of life and laughter.   We absolutely loved his endless sense of humor no matter what season of life.  To the end, he was always raising his hands and giving thanks to the Lord for His goodness in his life.  He will be forever remembered as the greatest love of our lives.  A lifetime wasn't long enough.  But eternity will come when we will be together forever. He left this world laying, but now, without a shadow of a doubt…he’s running!
