Laurettae Davis

Faye is survived by her husband, Jim L. Davis of Owingsville; two sons, Glenn (Sandy) Davis of Owingsville and Lance (Becky) Davis of Owingsville; one daughter, Mari Jean (Ed) Jones of Nicholasville; an aunt, Marjorie Boyd of Owingsville; several grandchildren, Blake (Brandi) Davis, Grant Davis, Kyle Hager, Lauren Hager, Jarred Jones and Jordan Davis; one great grandchild, Asher Davis and two special friends, Susan "Cookie" Hicks and Anna Belle Shultz.

Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannie Boyd.

Faye was a Bath County native. She was a member of the Owingsville Baptist Church and served as Church Clerk. Faye was Co-Owner of Davis Department Store and Co-Owner of Boyd's Restaurant. She served as Owingsville City Clerk for 17 years and was Owingsville's 1st Certified City Clerk. Faye was also a former Belk's employee.

Faye was former president and member of the Owingsville Woman's Club, she was a member of the Homemakers Club and served as May Day Chairman for 23 years.

Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15 at the Richie Hunt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16 at the Owingsville Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Bailey will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
