Lucille Ingram of Owingsville, Kentucky, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 9th,2026 and went to be with her Lord Jesus. She was born on April 20, 1937, in Owingsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Leslie and Gertrude Crouch.
Lucille is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Calvin Ingram, her parents, and seven of her siblings; Juanita Jones, Mary Francis Banks, Emma Lee Bailey, Barbara Jones, Stanley Crouch, Jimmy Crouch, and baby Crouch who passed at birth.
Lucille is survived by her children, Judy Ingram, and Wendell Ingram (Sherry) of Owingsville, KY; her two grandchildren, Matthew Ingram (Suzanne), and Natalie Chrisman (David); her six great-grandchildren, Maria Ingram, Maxwell Ingram, Seth Ingram, Quinby Chrisman, Stella Chrisman, and Ruthie Chrisman all of Louisville, KY; four siblings, Ida Creech, Cookie Buckler, Melvin Crouch, and Kenneth Crouch; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and family that she treasured.
Lucille married Calvin Ingram in 1954, and they had a happy family and life together. Lucille was a devoted helper to Calvin, helping him farm and grow produce that was sold throughout Bath County, caring for farm animals and working the land. Lucille valued hard work, faithful service, absolute devotion to her family, and love for the Lord. She grew up attending Grace Gospel Tabernacle and was baptized by Bro. Jarvis. Her and Calvin were members at Peeled Oak Christian Church where they worshiped and served for many years. Lucille managed the flower fund, making sure individuals and families knew they were loved and cared for during both joyful and sorrowful times. She loved to serve with summer Vacation Bible School, prepare fruit baskets and go Christmas Caroling with her church family.
Lucille also dedicated many years cleaning and caring for over 100 homes in Bath County and the surrounding areas. Lucille was particularly gifted in caring for others and in many of those homes she also provided care to children and the elderly. Lucille’s kindness, generosity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation for Lucille will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Charles "Hammer" McGuire, Bro. Kenny Crouch, Bro. Soloman David officiating.
A graveside service will follow at the Owingsville Cemetery with Rev. Lowell Rice and Bro. Russell Ingram officiating.
