Margaret "Peggy" Lucille Miller

Margaret "Peggy" Lucille Miller, born on January 15th, 1944, in Layland Ohio, passed away at the age of 79 in Bath County, Kentucky on May 2nd, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Peggy was a dedicated and hard-working woman who spent many years serving as a bus driver for Holmes County Training Center before retiring. She enjoyed spending her free time being a foster parent to many children over the years. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and willingness to help others.

In addition to her career accomplishments, Peggy had several hobbies and interests that she loved. Gardening brought her peace and she loved creating beautiful crafts and sewing. Her creative nature allowed her to make unique items that brought joy to those around her. She attended the Young's Valley Church of God in Bath County, Kentucky.

Peggy leaves behind her surviving family and friends: her husband, Freeman Miller, one son, Ron Miller and wife Brenda of Palm Coast, Florida, her two daughters, Sherri Boyes and husband Robert of Owingsville, Kentucky and Tabitha Miller of Owingsville, Kentucky, her brothers, Lionel Butler of Layland Ohio, and William Butler of Holmesville Ohio, sisters, Carol Kaser of Coshocton Ohio, Brenda Howland of Millersburg Ohio, and Carrie Witner of Millersburg Ohio, twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Brandon Miller; brothers, Jack Butler, Jim Butler, Joel Butler; sisters, Sandra Butler, and Betty Butler.

Family members and friends are invited to attend the visitation on May 6th, 2023, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM  at the Amazing Grace Baptist Temple located at 1150 Massillon Rd, Millersburg, OH 44654. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM  following the visitation at the same location.

Peggy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through her family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
