Marlene Carol Carr

Marlene Carol Carr, 83, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the UK St. Claire Hospital in Morehead, Kentucky.

She was born December 4, 1941 in Owingsville, a daughter of the late Ella Mae Ralls.

Marlene was retired from Cintas and was a graduate of DuBois High School.

She enjoying working crossword puzzles, watching her favorite tv shows, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marlene was a member of the St. Paul CME Church.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard Barnes, James White, and George Reed.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Alison Carr (Bradley Jones) of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers, Larry Barnes (Denise) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Steven Hodge of Owingsville; two granddaughters, Aubreyanna Carr and Arianna Carr; her special friend, Mary Murphy of Frankfort, Kentucky, and several other relatives and friends.

She also wanted to recognize her other good friends, Loma Copher, Robert Copher, Deanna Roberson, Karen Compton, Alisa Dailey, and Faye Stidham.

To honor Marlene's wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
