Mary C. Young Roberts

Mary C. Young Roberts, 104, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the Ridgeway Nursing Home. She was born on August 4, 1920, in Bath County, Kentucky, to the late Claude Young and Jesse (Myers) Young.

Mary worked as a sales associate for Williamson Furniture. Her passion for interior decoration was evident in her work and in her personal life. Mary cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed creating special memories with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Roberts.

She is survived by her son, James "Jimmy" Earl Roberts (Teri) of Owingsville, her sister, Carolyn Y. Crouch of Bethel, two granddaughters, Carrie Hentz of Lexington, and Ashley Miller (Paul) of Mt. Sterling; one grandson, Aaron Roberts (April) of Winchester, and five great-grandchildren: Bracken Wilson, Austin Wilson, Colton Hentz, Koltyn Roberts, and Tenley Roberts. She is also survived by her cousin, John E. Young (Sandy) of South Carolina.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Michael R Gray Funeral Home located at 89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. with Bro. Tony Belcher officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at the Owingsville Cemetery. 

Pallbearers include Rodney Donathan, Aaron Roberts, Koltyn Roberts, Zak Metz, Paul Miller, and Quintin Osterkamp.
