Mary Connie Vanlandingham, 66, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the UK hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31, 1958, to the late Clinton Harold and Billie Jean Hurt.
Mary's professional journey was marked by her role as a restaurant manager for many years, where her passion for hospitality shone through. Alongside her career, she found immense joy as a homemaker, pouring her heart into creating a warm and loving environment for her loved ones.
Outside of work, Mary found solace in various hobbies including crafts, cooking, reading, and tending to her family. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate household, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clark Manuel.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Tony Vanlandingham. She is also survived by her two sons, Kevin Vanlandingham (Elyse) of Clinton, Tennessee and Clay Vanlandingham of Owingsville, two grandchildren, Rylan and Gracie Vanlandingham. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Keith Embree (Lona) of Scottsville, Kentucky.
In memory of Mary's passing, a Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home located at 89 Slate Ave in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
