Maxine Price

June 27, 1934 — July 13, 2015

Mrs. Maxine Montgomery Price, 81, of Springfield, Ohio formerly of Bath County, Kentucky, was born on June 27, 1934 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, July 13, 2015.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and granny to so many.  She loved to go visit her home place in Kentucky.  Nothing pleased her better than to sit by a pond and fish for hours.  She loved to cook and eat as well.  She liked to show off her shooting ability as she would often join in target and real shooting contest.  She was known to like going to the casinos a time or two.  Her love for family was by far always at the center of her heart.  We will forever love and miss you Momma.

She was born the daughter of the late Troy and Hazel Montgomery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Crate Price, brothers, Burl, Chalmer (Dorothy), Homer (Joan) and Bill (Marilyn) Montgomery, sisters, Samantha, Meda, Jewel Dean and Lula Mae Maze, one daughter Anna Marie Raby, two grandsons, Brian Anthony Price and Crate Matthew Price, one great granddaughter, Aimee Lynn Caldwell and granddaughter, Kelly Brown.

Survivors include three brothers, Casper, Kenneth and Delmer Montgomery, four daughters, Wanda (Dave Parker) Stacy, Debbie (Alfred Little) Benson, Dolly (Jeff) Heston, whom Mom, Ethan and Jesse Raby had resided with for several years and Kathy (Ralph) Ferguson and five sons, Haskel (Paula) Price, Larry (Dawn) Price, Harlis (Sami) Price, Bill (Chrystal) Price and Robin (Teresa) Price.  As a Grandma and Granny she left behind numerous loved grandchildren.  As well as our mom loved all of us she always found great love in the many nieces and nephews she has.  God you now have another great angel, may the glorious reunion begin!

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Brad Montgomery Memorial Cemetery in Polksville, Kentucky with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday.
