Mayme Crump

Mayme Lee Crump, 86, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Bath County on September 25, 1935.  The daughter of the late Bettie Ginter.

Mayme was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, who enjoyed taking long walks outdoors, playing bingo, and going to local dances.  Her greatest joy was her family, and she was always proud of their accomplishments.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard Jr. Crump, one daughter, Peggy Sue Martin and son in law, Larry Dean Martin and one brother, Chester "Wool" Ginter.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Glen Crouch of Owingsville, one daughter, Betty Ann Bussell (Roy) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Michelle Fryman (David), Larry Dean Martin Jr. (Regina) and Christopher Lee Martin (Samantha), five great grandchildren, Tara Lynn Peck (Coty), Nicole Ann Heflin (Les), Tabitha Dawn Martin, Colton Martin and Hunter Martin, special grandson, Caleb Flora, three great great grandchildren, Kendall Heflin, Charles Logan Stull and Alayna Dartt and step great great grandson, Trace Heflin.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow at the Longview Cemetery in Bethel.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday.

Pallbearers will include, David Fryman, Les Heflin, Chuck Langford, Larry Shrout, Chris Martin, Larry Martin, Avery Bussell Jr. and Scott Bussell.
