Oleta Hatton Robinson, 83, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
She was born in Bath County on June 6, 1939 to the late Arthur Hatton and Katie Donathon Hatton.
Oleta was a blessing to everyone she met. She was an active member of the Owingsville First Church of God and the Kitchen Ministry team. She enjoyed taking trips to the Fleamarket where she would find items that she collected. In earlier years she enjoyed playing Pac Man on Atari and became very skilled at the game. She also loved spending time with her family and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest blessing and source of pride.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers; Stanley "Shiner" Hatton, Lewis Hatton, Eligah Russell "Jap" Hatton, Floyd “Pete” Hatton, Bill Hatton and Virgil “Jake” Hatton and one sister, Mayme Thompson.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Billy Scott Robinson, three sons; Barry Robinson (Linda) of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Jimmy Russell "Russ" Robinson (Sheila) of Blevins Valley, Kentucky and Kevin “Smurf” Robinson (Mary) of Bethel, Kentucky, eight grandchildren; Tyler Robinson (Ashley Paige), Dustin Robinson (Lane), Tasha Robinson, Sierra Brooks (Isaac Couch), Jimmy Austin Robinson (Margeaux), Cole Robinson, Justin Robinson (Linzi Wagers) and Will Allison, three great grandchildren; Memphis, Kayleigh and Emerson Robinson, two sisters; Opal Blankenship and Nellie Goodpaster (Owen) both of Owingsville, four sister in laws, Janice Hatton of Mt. Sterling, Deloris Hatton of Salt Lick, Peggy Gilley (Charles) of Morehead and Shella Adkins Robinson of Owingsville, two brother in laws, Larry C. Robinson (Linda Sue) Owingsville and Gary Wayne Robinson (Mary Lou) Salt Lick and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday.
Oleta's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
