Owingsville

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pamela Stull Wright, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on June 5, 2026, after a prolonged illness. Born on February 9, 1960, in the city of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Pam was a beacon of warmth and kindness, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone she encountered.

Pam was the cherished daughter of Ralph Darwin Stull and Peggy Roberts Stull, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Steve Stull, maternal grandparents William and Lucille Roberts, and her paternal grandparents Burl and Mae Stull.

Pam is survived by her siblings Vicki (Eric) Dozier, Lynn Stull, and Jennifer (Mike) Ginn, each of whom she held dear. Pam's life was enriched by the love of her husband, Roy Cable Wright, whom she married on June 6, 1981, creating a partnership filled with laughter and love. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Victoria (Brandon) Hicks and Cable Wright, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her granddaughter, Maddie Hicks, brought an unparalleled light into Pam's world, and she cherished every moment spent with her. Pam is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

A 1978 graduate of Bath County High School, Pam pursued higher education at Morehead State University, where she earned her Bachelor's (1982) and Master (2013) degrees. She found her true calling at Morehead State University, where she dedicated her career to nurturing young minds. As an enrollment counselor and later the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Pam was passionate about guiding students toward their educational goals. She took great pride in her work, and her enthusiasm for MSU was contagious, inspiring countless students to embrace their futures with confidence.

Pam's talents extended beyond her professional life. She had a remarkable gift for crafting, transforming simple materials into beautiful expressions of love and care. Her handcrafted cards were more than just paper and ink; they were heartfelt tokens of affection that brightened the lives of those who received them. In addition to her crafting, Pam had an avid love for travel and reading, always eager to explore new places and stories. Pam was also a very talented photographer and always loved taking photos of landscapes and family. Pam was locally recognized for her photography.

Pamela Stull Wright leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. Her fortitude and unwavering kindness touched all who knew her, and she will be remembered for her boundless generosity, sense of humor, and the joy she brought to others. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering support.
