Pansy Jennette (Becraft) Luttrell, 76, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 19, 1949, in Camargo, Kentucky to the late John Garrett Becraft and Esther Reffitt Becraft.

Throughout her life, Pansy embodied a spirit of dedication and compassion. She devoted her career to caring for others, working as a Nurse's Aid at the Rose Manor Nursing Home and as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Charter Ridge Hospital. Her nurturing nature shone brightly during her time as a nanny for the family of William Stamps Farish III, the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom. She was much more than a caregiver, she was a guardian, a friend, and a source of unwavering kindness.

Pansy’s zest for life was evident in her passions and pastimes. She was fearless and spirited, known for rodeo riding, racing cars, and riding her motorcycle with a joy that inspired those who knew her. A devoted caretaker of her farm, she took immense pride in keeping it beautiful, a reflection of her love for the earth and the simple pleasures found in daily life. Above all, her love for people was profound; she truly cherished the connections she made and nurtured.

Her life was also marked by remarkable achievements. Pansy traveled the world, an experience that enriched her soul and broadened her horizons. She had the distinct honor of meeting several presidents and dignitaries, moments that she often reflected on with humility and grace. These experiences stood as proud milestones in her extraordinary journey.

Pansy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bennie Carl Luttrell, whose memory remained close to her heart. She also mourned the loss of two brothers, Stanley Paul Becraft and Alvin "Jr." Becraft and one sister, Sally Ann Becraft Reed who joined her in eternal rest.

She is survived by two brothers, George Becraft and Raymond Eugene Becraft, along with his wife Brenda, and her sister Geneva "Jane" Martin and her husband Larry.

Pansy Jennette Luttrell was a remarkable woman whose kindness, courage, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, adventure, and unwavering devotion to others. Though she has left this earthly world, the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her heart, and the legacy of her gentle strength endure, forever touching those who carry her memory in their hearts.
