Patsy Myers Crouch Watts, 82, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away at her home on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1943, in Bethel, Kentucky, to the late, Rex Ragan Crouch and Ruth Myers Crouch.

Patsy‘s roots in Bethel remained close to her heart, visiting often to recall childhood memories. She was a Morehead State University graduate with a masters in education, and devoted 32 years to shaping young lives as a third grade teacher at Mount Sterling Elementary School, where she was known for her dedication to her students. She was an exceptional cook, and her legendary jam cake was a favorite among those who knew her. A talented seamstress, she could sew anything she had an idea for. A faithful member of first Christian Church in Mount Sterling, Patsy found great comfort in her faith. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, honoring her family’s heritage in history.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse "JC" Watts, as well as two cherished grandchildren, Joseph Collier and Finn Collier and her dearly loved sister, Chloe Ann Stewart.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Watts (Stephanie) of Mt. Sterling and her daughter, Tricia Watts Collier (John) of Burkesville, Kentucky. Patsy’s pride in her family grew further in the presence of her grandchildren: Caroline Jackson (Jed), Catherine Stephens (Jordan), John Will Collier, Patrick Collier, Brody Watts and Sadie Watts, along with her great-grandchildren, Wren Jackson and Ramsey Jackson, her brother-in-law, Billy Stewart of Sharpsburg and her niece Dr. Anne Stewart DeMot (Curt) of Lexington.

Visitation services honoring Patsy's life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the First Christian Church, located at 222 W Main St., Mt. Sterling, KY 40353. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM at the same location with Rev. Dr. Scott Holley and Rev. Michelle Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at the Longview Cemetery in Bethel.

Pallbearers include John Will Collier, Patrick Collier, Brody Watts, Jed Jackson, Jordan Stephens and John Collier.
