Phyllis Collins Henderson, 72, of Owingsville, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 26, 1943 in Bath County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Fred and Helen Conn Collins.
Mrs. Henderson had been a nurse assistant at Colonial Rest Home and Hilltop Manor and she was also a homemaker. Phyllis was a member of the Owingsville First Church of God and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Henderson, who passed away on December 23, 2013.
Survivors include one son, Gary (Kathy) Henderson of Owingsville, two daughters, Connie (Billy) Scaggs of Salt Lick and Lisa (Ben) Linam of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, one brother, Bobby Gene Collins of Mt. Sterling, four grandchildren, Sherry Henderson, Ben Scaggs, Bradley Scaggs and Olivia Linam and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice and Rev. John Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Henderson, Ben Scaggs, Billy Scaggs, Bradley Scaggs, Ben Linam, Keith Collins, Justin Miller and Tanner Utterback.
