Robert Kenneth "Kenny" Crum, 79, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
He was born in Bath County, Kentucky on March 9, 1942 to the late Hubert Kenneth Crum and Kathleen Welch Bashford.
Kenny was a retired heavy equipment operator and pipe line worker for Texas Eastern Transmission and a member of the Lakeview Community Church. He enjoyed tinkering on things around the home and elsewhere. If work took Kenny away from his home then Peggy his beloved wife of 59 years and their children would travel over state lines just to be together as a family. Spending time with his family was most important.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Crockett Crum, two daughters; Kathy Buckler (Gary) of Owingsville and Bobbi Swartz (Eric) of Salt Lick, Kentucky, two grandsons; Turner Swartz and Gabe Swartz both of Salt Lick, one brother, Jeff Bashford and one sister, Debra Dickerson both of Salt Lick and special friend, Barry Blevins of Owingsville.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Anthony Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 5 - 8 PM Saturday.
Pallbearers are Turner Swartz, Gabe Swartz, Barry Blevins, Art Parrish, Larry Copher and Phil Copher.
Honorary pallbearers include; Brandon Dillon, Matt Dillon, Neal Swartz and Kyle Swartz
