Roger Lee Riddle

Roger Lee Riddle, 80, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026 at his home.

He was born on July 2, 1945 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a son of the late Raymond and Eva Mae Conyers Riddle.

Roger was retired from A. O. Smith and he was a United States Army Veteran.

He was a member of the Owingsville Christian Church and a very proud member of the Owingsville Fire Department, where he had previously served as both Chief and Assistant Chief.

Roger was an avid UK fan and he enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture, collecting various things and golfing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carllea Ann Riddle, who passed away on March 5, 2026 and his brother, Tommy Ray Riddle, Sr.

Survivors include his son, Ron Riddle and his wife, Sandy; his daughter, Lee Ann Ramey and her husband, John; and his grandson, Taylor Scott Ramey all of Owingsville and one nephew, Tommy Ray Riddle, Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Ewing, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Johnny Baber and Brother Wesley Crouch officiating.

Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery with full military rites performed at the gravesite.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be William Carpenter, Taylor Scott Ramey, Rogie Coyle, Brandon Coyle and Robbie Coyle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Carpenter, John Ramey and Sandy Riddle.
