Samuel was a Bath County native. He was a farmer.
Samuel is survived by his parents, Roger and Christine Lucas of Owingsville; one brother, Michael (Phyllis) Lucas of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Bonnie Davis of Owingsville and Mary Jean Crouch of WInchester, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
