Sheila Trusty, 45, of Owingsville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in the St. Joseph Hospital-East in Lexington after an illness of several weeks.
She was born on June 20, 1970 in Campton, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James Harvey Trusty and Oval Carpenter Trusty.
Sheila was a private caregiver and a Christian.
She enjoyed quilting, painting and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include one brother, Harvey Kendall (Deborah) Trusty, two sisters, Sandra (Charles “Bill”) Wright and Sherry (Steve) Reffitt and her step-mother, Ravena Trusty all of Owingsville, special uncle and aunt, Randy and Linda Carpenter of Jackson, Kentucky and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Robert Wright officiating.
Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery in Wolfe County.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Trusty, Steve Reffitt, Jerry Trusty, Robert Wright, Randy Carpenter, Jacob Gannon, Bill Wright and Conrad Wright.
