Stephanie Sandy, 64, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed peacefully at her home on January 7, 2024.

She was born on June 8, 1959, in Marion, Indiana.  The daughter of Thomas "Sonny" Warren and the late Mary Lou Wright Warren.

Stephanie brought joy and warmth into the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Stephanie was a woman of many talents and interests. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her garden. The beauty of nature always captivated her, and she found solace in spending time outdoors. Stephanie's creative spirit blossomed through her love for sewing and other forms of arts and crafts. Whether it was stitching a quilt or creating something new from scratch, she poured her heart into every project. She enjoyed spending sunny afternoons swimming or tanning by the poolside. These simple pleasures brought her immense joy, allowing her to unwind and find peace within herself. Her positive spirit was contagious and often brightened the lives of those around her. 

The family was the cornerstone of Stephanie's life. She cherished the bonds she shared with her loved ones and treasured moments spent together. 

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Warren who passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. 

In addition to her father, Thomas "Sonny" Warren of Owingsville, Stephanie is survived by her son, Daniel Hunter Sandy of Winchester, her niece, Kandis Butcher of Owingsville, a great-niece, Kayla Lynn Baker, cherished best friend, Regina Bush of Owingville, and devoted caretaker Denise Conley who was there for her 'till the end. Together, they shared an unbreakable bond filled with laughter, love, and support.

Stephanie's memory will forever be etched in our hearts as we remember her infectious laugh and kind-hearted nature. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and accepted. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she demonstrated time and again through acts of kindness towards others.

A celebration of life for Stephanie will be held at a later date.
