Vinson Clay Kelly, 57, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Friday July 3, 2020.
He was born on September 22, 1962 in West Liberty, Ky. to the late Wendall "Shortie" Adams and Betty Carol Kelly and was raised by his late stepfather, James Otto Pergrem.
Vinson worked construction for M & M services in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed building, racing and collecting race cars and hotrods. As his family would say "Oil ran through his veins". Vinson also loved spending time with his family and working in the yard.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death one grandchild, Donavin Kelly and one brother, Jim Adams.
Survivors include his beloved wife Jackie Kelly, two daughters Jessica Trimble of Owingsville and Amanda Kelly Bowles (Josh), one son, Cody Kelly (Shaunda) all of Owingsville, his step-mother, Judy Flack (Rocky) of Michigan, four brothers, Noel Pergrem (Anita), Jamie Pergrem (Renae), Kerry Pergrem (Donna) all of Owingsville, Mickey Adams (Tryna) of Michigan, four sisters Frances Montjoy (Jeff) of Olympia, Teresa Pergrem (William), Ruth White both of Mt. Sterling, Sherry Butler (Shag) of Michigan and one sister in law, Kim Adams. Ten grandchildren, Phoenix Trimble, Shy Trimble, Falcon Roberson, Aleah Kelly, Ava Kelly, Tristan Tackett, Carley Dunaway, John Bowles, Navanna Bowles,and Colvaugh Bowles and one great-grandchild on the way, Hazel.
Visitation for Mr. Kelly will be from 5 - 9 P.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.
