William Tapp
August 25, 1943 — October 3, 2012
William "Waynie" Tapp, 69, was a Bath County native. He was a former barber and member of the Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Regina Tapp of Preston; three sons, Roger Wayne Tapp of Preston, James "JW" Tapp of Preston and Michael "Stick" Tapp of Preston; one daughter, Sherry Tapp Russell of Mt. Sterling; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Snedegar of Owingsville and Peggy Craig of Lexington.
William "Waynie" was preceded in death by his parents, William Tapp and Ruth Morris.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Richie Hunt Funeral Home. Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Slate Cemetery.
Visitation: After 5 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Richie Hunt Funeral Home
