Ms. Bertha Mae Ingram Patrick, 97, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Owingsville.

She was born in Menifee County, Kentucky on April 8, 1924 to the late Joe Allen Donathan and Rebecca Thompson Donathan.

Bertha was a humble, generous person who enjoyed spending long hours in the garden and was known as quite the green thumb.  She adored her grandchildren and spending time with her beloved family.  She also enjoyed cooking and telling stories with her sisters to other family and friends. Bertha was a faithful member for over sixty-five years to the Preston First Church of God and served proudly as a Sunday school teacher and treasurer for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Ingram and her second husband, Orbie Patrick and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters; Athonia Curtsinger (Eddie) of Bardstown, Kentucky and Glenda Conley (Benton) of Morehead, Kentucky and her sister, Margie Zegelein of Winchester, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Sonja McCarty (Randy) of Olympia, Kentucky, Travis Fields (Crystal) of Owingsville, Chris Conley (Arica) and Kyle Conley both of Morehead, six great grandchildren; Hunter McCarty, Alex Fields both of Lexington, Kentucky, Zachary Fields of Owingsville, Zane McCarty of Olympia, Haleigh Conley and Abby Conley both of Morehead and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Preston First Church of God at 7184 Preston Rd. Owingsville, Kentucky 40360 with Pastor Terry Frerichs officiating.

Burial will follow at the Kendall Springs Cemetery.

Visitation at the Preston First Church of God is from 12 noon - 1:00 PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers include; Eddie Curtsinger, Randy McCarty, Travis Fields, Hunter McCarty, Zane McCarty, Alex Fields and Zachary Fields.

The family would like to personally thank the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility for their years of service you provided to Bertha and her family.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Ms. Bertha Ingram Patrick.
