Betty Reeves

Betty Jane Ashwell Reeves, 69, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully Thursday morning, February 11, 2021 surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born on January 21, 1952 in Brookville, Ohio.  The daughter of the late Willard Alonzo Ashwell and Helen Jordon Ashwell.

Betty was a woman of great faith and a proud member of the Sugar Grove Christian Church.  She collected books, angels and dolls.  Her dream was to collect enough books to start her very own library.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Maybelle "Jeannie" Ashwell.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Reeves, two daughters; Maranatha Elisabeth Beair (Wade) of Troy, Ohio and Sarah Esther Reeves of Owingsville,  three sons; Abaraham Reeves of Danville, Kentucky, Elijah Reeves of Owingsville and Alonzo Cooley of Dayton, Ohio, one granddaughter, Azzura Amirah Beair and one sister Mary Elizabeth Ashwell.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Sugar Grove Christian Church in Owingsville with Pastor Francis Nash officiating.

Visitation at the Sugar Grove Christian Church will be from 12 - 2 PM Friday.
