Pamela Bashford

Pamela Gayle Catchings Bashford, 58, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on October 24, 1963 to the late Ed Catchings and Lavena Wells Catchings.

Pam was a member of the Northside Church of God.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, making crafts with the children and sharing memories with anyone who wanted to listen about her childhood.  She also loved spending time with her beloved family.  In addition to raising her own children, she went on to take in many more by devoting her life to become a foster parent for 15 years.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Steve Bashford, four sons, Derrick Bashford (Ruby Corey), Shaun Bashford (Misty) and their son Jake, Jason Bashford, Isaiah Bashford and one daughter, Emma Rose Bashford all of Owingsville, two brothers, John Catchings (Claudia) and Edward Catchings  both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, two sisters, Mary Ann Richmond of Mt. Sterling and Carol "Tootie" Hamilton (Rodney) of Flemingsburg.  Survivors also include her two beloved K-9 companions, Allie and Miracle who will dearly miss her.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Reverends, Kenny Crouch and Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow at the Owingsville Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday.

Pallbearers include; Shaun, Derrick and Jason Bashford, Jacob Richmond, John Douglas Catchings, Logan Green, Chris Everman and Josh Bennett.

Honorary Pallbearers include; Michael Jones, Reese Richmond, Harold Bashford, Tyler Riddell, Ed Catchings and John Catchings.
