Sidney Donathan

Sidney "Bob" Donathan, 86, of Owingsville passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling.

He was born on November 21, 1933 in Menifee County to the late Joe Allen Donathan and Rebecca Thompson Donathan.

Bob enjoyed playing the fiddle.  He would often entertain people at church and the nursing home. He also loved fishing and other outdoor activities.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie Zegelien of Winchester and Bertha Patrick of Owingsville and one brother Randall Donathan of Lexington. Survivors also include a host of nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family all services for Mr. Donathan will be private.

Pallbearers will include Dale Toy, Daniel Zegelien, Travis Fields, James Holt, Randy McCarty and Randall Donathan.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Sidney "Bob" Donathan.
